Golden Jubilee Celebrations

2015 marks 50 years since the 3 Methodist Churches in Immingham united to form Trinity Methodist Church. Several celebration events have been planned and these are listed below.

FORMER MINISTERS RETURN TO TRINITY TO JOIN WITH GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

This year Trinity Methodist Church is celebrating 50 years since the three Methodist Churches in Immingham came together to form one Church in 1965 and as one of the Church celebration events a Dinner was held to mark this occasion. 42 members and friends of the church were joined for the dinner by former Ministers, Revd Angela Singleton who is now living in High Wycombe, Deacon Brenda Hayes from Sherringham, Revd Ian Wales who now lives and works in Brigg, and Revd Alex Conn who has retired back to Immingham, they were welcomed by the current Minister Revd Katie Deakins who also welcomed the Mayor of Immingham, Councillor Malcolm Cullum who brought greetings from the Town Council, and thanked the Church for the support they had given him over the last year. After a delicious 3 course meal served by Vallins of Grimsby the after dinner speaker was Revd Ian Wales who reminisced on his time in Immingham and challenged the members and friends gathered to another 50 years of work and witness in Immingham.
